What subjects are required for admission to medical programs?

For specialist programs General Medicine, Pediatrics, Clinical Psychology, applicants must take examinations in Biology, Chemistry, and Russian Language. All exams are conducted in Russian.

Can I take entrance exams remotely?

Yes, the Almazov Centre conducts entrance examinations in a remote format using a proctoring system. This allows international applicants to take exams without travelling to Russia.

What is the minimum score required to pass?

For specialist programs, the minimum passing score is 50 points in each subject. For master’s programs, the minimum is 6 points on the oral interview. 

Do I need to know Russian to take the exams?

Yes, all entrance examinations are conducted in Russian. If your Russian language proficiency is insufficient, we strongly recommend completing a preparatory course at the Almazov Centre before applying.

What happens if I fail the entrance exam?

If you do not achieve the minimum passing score, you may not be admitted to the program for that academic year. However, you may reapply in subsequent years after additional preparation.

How will I receive my exam results?

Exam results are published on the applicant portal within the timeframe specified by the admission committee.

What should I do if I experience technical issues during the exam?
